Comics With My Kid's 2021 Favorite Book

 Comics with my Kids

Year End Favorite Book

Logan D's

G.I. Joe Vol. 1 Trade paperback

Logan's favorite comic for this year was the collection of Classic G.I. Joe comics vol 1. The book reprints issues 1 through 10 of the classic tales from Marvel Comics.  Logan initially picked this book to talk about because of his interest in the newest G.I.Joe movie Snake Eyes.  After reading this book he continued on with the rest of the collected books that Matt has in his library.

Like most kids who get hooked into the series, Logan likes Snakes Eyes the most.  With his vow of silence and mysterious past; Snake Eye is a character that is very intriguing to any reader.  In this first collection Snakes eyes is very stealthy and is a commando that uses talents similar to a ninja, but the character background hasn't been developed yet with the Arashikage Clan.

Logan's favorite adventure is in issue three when the Joe's tangle against a giant Robot.  Cobra creates a classic giant robot to attack the Joe; but before the Robot can be activated the Joes infiltrate Cobra base and steal the robot.
The robot is now stored in the Joe's base , the Pit where it comes alive and wrecks havoc with the Joes.

There wasn't anything in this book that Logan didn't like.  Logan gave this entire collection 5 stars, we only talked about issue one on episode 35 so if you want to hear more about this book go check out that episode.
